Salaries indexation
There is an indexation of wages in your sector (PC310) next month.
The wage increase is 0.42% from 1 July 2024.
Indexation of wages in Belgium is a mechanism whereby wages are automatically adjusted to the increase in longevity. This system is known as "wage indexation" and is designed to protect workers' purchasing power against inflation.

Global Rights Index 2024: Violations of workers' rights continue!

On June 12, the International Trade Union Confederation released its annual ' Global Rights Index' .
The annual index of the International Trade Union Confederation (IVV) looks at 151 countries to determine how they deal with workers' rights.
The report reveals that democratic values and fundamental rights continue to deteriorate worldwide. Trade union members were killed, there was an increase in violations of the right to strike and many countries received worse ratings in 2024 than in the previous edition.
The 10 worst countries for workers are: Bangladesh, Belarus, Ecuador, Egypt, Eswatini, Guatemala, Myanmar, the Philippines, Tunisia and Turkey.

Double payment and additional holiday pay in June

June is the month in which ING calculates and pays the annual holiday pay to all employees. This was paid out on 21/06/2023.
The double holiday pay amounts to 85% of the gross monthly salary (and variable premiums) for the month of June and is proportional to the number of days of statutory holiday to which you are entitled according to the performance in the reference year (2023) and your employment percentage;
The additional holiday pay amounts to 7% of the gross monthly salary (and variable premiums) for the month of June and is proportional to the number of days of statutory holiday to which you are entitled based on your performance in the reference year and your employment percentage.

Sports and culture vouchers

Every year you receive electronic sports and culture vouchers worth 100 euros on your Pluxee account.
These are available from 1/07/2024 and are valid for 15 months .
You can use them to pay for cultural and sporting activities at institutions affiliated with Pluxee.
