Results of the Survey about Well-Being at ING


645 people took part in the survey.


1. In answer to question 1, multiple choice.


Tick the boxes corresponding to situations or behaviours that you may have already encountered at ING and which may be contributing to your discomfort. If you have not noticed any of the situations listed, you can suggest something else or state that everything is fine at the end of the questionnaire.


• 476 people selected one or more options. (74%)

• A total of 4356 options were selected by these 476 people, i.e. an average of 9.2 options per person.

• 33 people added options in the free text field .



2. For question 2, multiple choice, 2 options proposed


I feel comfortable at ING

=> 289 people selected this option. (45%)

• I feel no negative pressure

=> 153 people selected this option. (24%)



3. For question 3, "Anything else to add?


107 people gave useful comments which will be analysed later.



Initial findings.


• 81 people (13%) are fully happy to work at ING because they have not selected any stress factors. They said they felt good at ING and did not feel any negative pressure.

• 134 people (21%) said they felt good at ING but hoped for improvements because they also selected stress factors.

• 171 people (27%) felt good at ING, but said they felt negative pressure.

• 324 people (50%) said they felt unhappy working at ING because they selected one or more stress factors, and did not select any option in question 2.

They will be presented at the next ING National Well-Being Forum to work on reducing your stress factors and anything else that can help to improve your well-being.
